FAQs for Android

  1. How to import video/photo from Facebook/ Instagram?

    1. When you open up FilmoraGo on your Android device there will be two options, Create New Video and My Saved Projects. Select Create New Video.

    2. Four options will appear at the top of your screen: Video, Photo, Facebook, and Instagram, select your choice.

    Sharing to Facebook and Instagram will both require you to log in to your respective accounts to connect to FilmoraGo.

  2. How to save my finished video to the Camera Roll

    1.Save your project, or tap My Saved Projects when you first open FilmoraGo to find an existing project and select it. You will be taken to a screen with the options Edit, Play, or Delete.

    2.Tap the red Share icon in the top right corner of the screen. You will find sharing options such as Whatsapp or SAVE TO CAMERA ROLL.

  3. How to share my video on social media?

    1.Save your project, or tap My Saved Projects when you first open FilmoraGo to find an existing project and select it. You will be taken to a screen with the options Edit, Play, or Delete.

    2. Tap the red Share icon in the top right corner of the screen.

    3. Icons will appear for all of the social media sites you can share your video on. Tap on the site you want to use.

    You will need to be linked to your social media accounts to share from the app.



  4. Why does the app warn me that there is no space for saving?

    Some Android phones (Android system 4.3 and above) do not allow apps to access to their SD card for safety reasons. You could only save videos to the internal storage of the phone for now.

    There are two ways to solve this issue:

    1. Remove the unnecessary files from the phone to get enough space.

    2. Delete projects from FilmoraGo MY SAVED PROJECTS. Get in to FilmoraGo, MY SAVED PROJECTS, tap the icon of the project that you want to delete. You will be taken to a screen with the options Edit, Play, or Delete. Then tap DELETE. If you saved your video to your camera roll, it will not remove your saved video by deleting the project.

  5. How to rename a video or project name?

    1.Open up FilmoraGo and tap My Saved Projects.

    2.Swipe through your saved projects to find the one you want to rename. Select it by tapping its thumbnail.

    3.You will be taken to a screen from which you can Edit, Play, or Delete your project. Tap the title of your project in this screen.

    4.A keypad will open. Enter the new title of your project.

    5.Tap Done.

    6.Save video after you edit the project name, your video will be named according to the project.

  6. How to add music from my phone?

    1.Tap the Music icon in the toolbar on the right side of your screen. If you do not see this toolbar you are likely in the clip editing screen. Tap OKAY to exit and then tap MUSIC.

    2.Select MY LIBRARY to select detected music from your phone, you can also tap Scan Music to manually find your own music.

  7. How to change ratio of the video?

    1.Tap the RATIO/CROP icon in the toolbar on the right side of FilmoraGo main screen.

    2.Then you will see options as“1:1”，“16:9”，“CUT SIDES”，“ADD FRAME”to adjust the ratio of your video/photo.

  8. What format does FilmoraGo support?

    Video

    Android：.MP4  

    iOS：.MOV  .MP4

    Image：.JPEG .PNG .BMP


  9. How to arrange the order of my clips?

    The round thumbnails at the bottom of your screen represent the clips you have loaded into your project.

    1.Tap one of the round thumbnails and hold it for a moment. Your thumbnails will start to shake and an Okay button will appear in the bottom right of your screen.

    2.Slide your clips into the order you want them in.

    3.Tap Okay when you are done.

  10. How to add/edit Title?

    Adding a Title

    1.Tap on a clip to select it. Your clips are represented by round thumbnails at the bottom of your screen.

    2.Select Titles on the toolbar that appears at the bottom of your screen.

    3.A selection of different title styles will appear. Tap them to test them out.

    4.While you are playing one of the animated titles tap the middle of the screen to open up a keypad. Type in your text and then tap Done to return to the titles menu and continue testing different styles.

    5.Tap Okay when you are happy with your title.

    Editing a Title

    1.Select the clip that has the title you want to edit.

    2.Tap the middle of the screen to open up your keypad and edit your text.

  11. How to check and update to the newest version of FilmoraGo?


    1.Open the FilmoraGo app, tap the icon on the top left of the first screen.

    2.Tap UPGRADE to check the version you have, it will inform you to upgrade if you do not have the newest version.
