We have shown you different ways to make dolly shots and panning shots in previous tips. As we explore more camera movements, we would like to share another quick tip – how to simulate jib or steadicam shots using a two-legged tripod.
First, detract one leg of the tripod. Then place the two-legged tripod on floor, and move in or out to simulate a jib or steadicam shot.
