We have been asked if there is a way to stabilize a camera without a tripod. Yes, there is! This quick tip will show you how to make a DIY video stabilizer that is cheap and easy to use. All you need is a string and a tripod screw.

You can get a string of 5 - 7 feet depending on your height. Step on the midpoint of the string and make the two ends together. Screw the two ends at the bottom of your camera using the tripod screw. Now you have your camera stabilizer! When filming, you can step on the string and hold the camera tight to stabilize it. It allows you to pan and tilt your camera smoothly and get the perfect shots.
